a. Preached in approximately 50 area-wide campaignsb. Cities where some campaigns were held - Detroit, Dallas, St. Louis, Phoenix, Memphis, Seattle, Denver, Indianapolis, Austin, Amarillo, Charleston and Parkersburgc. Preached in 42 states, Australia, Greece, Lebanon, North Ireland, Japan, Jamaica and Englandd. Responses - 37,000 with more than 10,000 baptisms

Made a three-week study tour of Greece, Turkey and Iran in 1969c. Flew around the world in 1965. Went to Hawaii, Fiji Islands, Australia, India, Iran, Turkey, Italy and England (about 29,000 miles)d. Preached in Brisbane, Australia, campaign, 1965; Belfast, North Ireland, meeting, 1969e. Spoke on Far East Fellowship in Tokyo in 1971f. Speaker at the World’s Fair Singer Bowl meeting July 4,1965

a. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, April 16, 1930b. Military record - Quit high school to join the army in 1947. Served 18 months and was discharged as Staff Sergeant (18 years old at the time). Served 22 months in Army Reservec. Became a Christian as a student at Harding in 1949 and began to preach in October of that year
VIII. Family:
a. Married the former Marilyn McCluggage in August 1951. Three children: Cindy (July 3, 1959) is now Mrs. Jeff Payne. She and her husband work with the Taylors Church in Greenville, S.C. Jimmy (June 11, 1960) is preaching in Hartford, Ct. Mike (Feb. 14, 1966) is working for Homeland Security in Washington, D.C. Jimmy and Marilyn have seven grandchildren.
IX. Served as an elder for two years at College Church of Christ, Searcy, Arkansas (1976-78).
Dr. Jimmy Allen taught in the Bible Department at Harding University
in Searcy, Arkansas for fifty years before his retirement in 2008.
